The Tillandsia Melanocrater is a unique species that comes in different colors. The pointed leaves of this plant can differ from yellow-green to red color. Like all other types of Airplants, the Melanocrater is descended from the plant family Bromelia. The Tillandsia Melanocrater is in principle somewhat like the Tillandsia Juncea when you look at the pointed thin leaves and the shape it attracts. However, the Melanocrater is generally a lot smaller.
The Tillandsia Melanocrater is native to Central America and Mexico. A flower can also bloom from this variety, which can take on a beautiful red, pink or purplish color.
